123, Tengri win EPICENTER open quals

Team123 and Tengri secured their spots in the EPICENTER: Moscow closed qualifiers by winning the European and CIS open qualifier, respectively.

On Saturday the 512-slot open qualifiers started in Europe and CIS, each of which offered a single spot in the respective closed qualifiers for EPICENTER: Moscow.

Teams such as Kinguin, AGG and Epsilon took part in the European open qualifier. Michał "MICHU" Müller's side ended up forfeiting a match with the aforementioned Swedes, while AGG fell to Team123.

Epsilon then met the Danes in the grand final on Nuke but fell short in the end, as Christian "rezex" Bjerregaard's side grabbed the closed qualifier spot after a 16-11 affair.

In the CIS qualifier two Kazakh teams stood at the end, Tengri and zARLANS. The former, featuring veteran Adlet "keeN" Nyrseytov, took a comfortable 16-6 victory on Mirage to secure a spot in their region's closed qualifier.

The European closed qualifier's group stage is now complete:

karma is a bitch -CG qualilfes for a LAN -Then they lose (expected) -And then the swedish players on the team decide to kick the two danes -After serveral months, Epsilon (ex-CG) plays against the same person they kicked -And then Epsilon lost and the danes moves on to a LAN qualilfer
