VG win eXTREMESLAND China Finals

As eXTREMESLAND China Finals have come to a close, with VG.CyberZen grabbing the win over Born Of Fire 2-1 (Mirage 16-6, Train 16-19, Cobblestone 16-4), the team list of the $50,000 Asia Finals is now complete.

Over the last two months a total of nine regional qualifiers for the eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals, each featuring offline finals at the end, have taken place for 12 spots at the $50,000 event.

From August 30-31, eight Chinese teams fought for four of the 12 spots in the very last regional finals, including China's number two team VG.CyberZen.

VG.CyberZen will take part in the 16-team finals

The favorites finished in second place in their group to Born Of Fire, while New4 and EHOME grabbed the other two spots in Group B.

Bin "Savage" Liu's team were closely contested by New4 in the semi-final as well as Born Of Fire in the grand final, but secured first place at the China Finals after all.

Just a year ago Asia rarely had any tournaments. They've really taken a step forward since then. It's always interesting to see such a wide span of teams. Let's see what India, Vietnam and Taiwan can do, along with MVP.karnal. :)
