LG drop out of Northern Arena

The tournament organizers revealed that Luminosity will miss the $100,000 event.

The problem emerged because two Luminosity players had a problem with Canada Customs and the squad was left with only three players.

LG dropped out of the event because finding two stand-ins they were familiar with in such an extremely small amount of time wouldn't be possible. If they made it to Toronto without any issues, The Brazilians were going to compete in Group B against TSM, OpTic, and Echo Fox.

nak & co. miss the sixteen-team event

A round-robin format has now been adopted for Group B, meaning the remaining three teams will play each other once in best-of-three series to determine the top two teams that will advance to the playoffs.

The contest will kick off today at 18:00 and you can find everything you need to know about the competition on our event page.

Only reason Korea isn't top tier at CS is because they're already that at LoL so it's taking most of the attention. Meanwhile Brazil tried to get good at LoL and failed then had to move onto CS which became way more popular
2016-09-01 17:31
LoL is still 10 times more popular tha CS in BR. U don't have a point.
2016-09-01 17:37

Yep. Another 16-0 would be possible.

Canada customs is notorious for their prejudice. While Canadians are singing the song of progressivism and tolerance, Brazilians are still turned away even while having signed work contracts.
