free money + good to practice why not?
2016-09-16 23:38
Free money yes. Good practice? LUL
2016-09-16 23:45
well, it's decent practice. you can't test stuff at pugs, scrims teams most likely don't take 100% serious, so they will play against ok teams that will be trying hard to win and this way they can see what can work and what cannot. they can't pratcice against actually top 10 teams because when they play them, it's for a very big tournament so not the time to try out new stuff. i think that's why they take those invites. let's time they tried to practice new stuff at big tournaments, tyloo 2-1 happened. i doubt we'll see them making this same mistake again :l

Echo vs NRG and Optic vs TSM look pretty even tbh
2016-09-16 23:39
It's not groups. It's just an 8 team single elimination bracket. Obviously top teams got higher seeds and less accomplished teams got lower seeds.
2016-09-17 00:06
Oh, right... My mistake, missed the "vs" part there. So used to seeing groups on left and right side, I was like wtf?
