Former fnatic member Harley "dsn" Örwall has been installed as coach of B.O.O.T., the Chinese team have announced.
The 30-year-old hung up his mouse and keyboard in 2011 after playing at the highest level for over a decade, during which he plied his trade for teams like xPerience.se, Begrip Gaming, EYEBallers and more notably fnatic.
It was on fnatic that Harley "dsn" Örwall cemented his credentials as one of the game's finest AWPers, and he played an important part in the team's hegemony in the 1.6 scene in 2007 and 2009.
dsn will move to Shanghai to coach the team full-time
After a five-year absence, the Swede is ready to embrace a new challenge in esports as he will be moving to Shanghai to coach B.O.O.T., who recently finished in fourth place at the CS:GO Super League 2016 finals.
"I feel really happy to come back to Counter-Strike, this time as a coach for the Chinese team B.O.O.T," Örwall said in a statement.
"A while back I was approached by a friend who I got to know during my time in Fnatic, and he asked me if I would be interested in coaching the team he worked for.
"After a lot of thinking, as well as visiting the team’s training house in Shanghai, I came to the conclusion that this would be a fun challenge for me.
"We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve and we hope that an improved training regime, coupled with hard work, can speed up our improvement process moving forward.
"I think to be a part of Chinese e-sports at this point in time is very exciting, and moving to Shanghai will also be beneficial for one of my personal goals, to speak fluent Chinese, a project I set out on nine months ago."
