JW: "We never started from scratch"

In our next interview from WESG Europe & CIS Finals, we sat down with Jesper "JW" Wecksell to find out why GODSENT are struggling and what their plans for the next month are.

On the first two days, GODSENT struggled in the group stage, as they fell to Null element and Kinguin and barely made it past Null element.

The relegation draw matched them up to another underwhelming team, Astralis. The Swedes advanced to the Global Finals after getting decimated on Dust2 and coming back from a 2-13 deficit on Mirage before taking Train in a close manner.

The next round saw them face another Danish team, Dignitas, who eased past GODSENT after two comfortable maps, as Jesper "JW" Wecksell and company finished in 5th-8th place in Kiev.

They are trying to play like ex-fnatic but they cant.
2016-10-08 17:42
They expect from pronax and znajder to react like olof and dennis did. Thats wrong, they need more time for sure. Then we can judge.

The question is: How much time do they need?
2016-10-08 18:10
Probably too much atm, I dont think that znajder and pronax got what it takes these days.
2016-10-08 18:26
+1, you never hear people say this with any other team even if it's SK or Virtus.pro. Someone said to me the other day 'well, when they're all in the zone and in form they can beat almost anyone' well how the fuck are we meant to tell if they're 'in form' right now or not? this might be as far as they can go.

"GODSENT ia going to be the best swedish team after the shuffle" everytime I remember this shit it makes me giggle LUL
2016-10-08 20:23
I thought fnatic had the better end of the deal after the shuffle anyways. Of course GODSENT had the more experienced players but fnatic had way more potential.

I actually think having hunger for glory is more important than having experience. The hungry guy will keep improving and learning all the time but at the other hand the experienced guy already knows all that stuff but has no real motivation to win. YOUNG BLOOD. EZ 4 Lekr0
2016-10-08 20:29
+1 I agree. ez for Lekr0, twist and wenton
2016-10-08 21:19
i think atleast 2 months..

They should already play good but they struggle vs. tier15 teams...and that team is formed by 5 experienced players who are multiple times major winners. At this point i dont think this team will work out.
