I feel they are better than everyone in the South-East Asia online qualifier except from MVP Project and they got matched vs them lol EDIT: Oh shit they don't have Machinegun, forgot he's in NA playing in what team? Then Mongolz still 3rd best team imo in the qaulifier and got matched vs best team in the qualifier

Indonesian with the name "Hansel Ferdinand" tho
2016-10-14 16:38
christians in indonesia tend to use western name
2016-10-14 16:56
any reason for this? i see they do this in other asian countries too
2016-10-14 17:14
most of the time here it would be because it sounds cooler than local names. fun fact you can tell someone's religion just from their name here
2016-10-14 17:42
fyi,it most likely happened because of influnce brought by dutch and britain when colonization on sea country
2016-10-14 18:06
Well, i'm indonesian and i can say that most of chinese indonesian tend to use western names. And we're not like chinese malaysian that use chinese names, but here its forbidden to use chinese names for chinese indonesian because of soeharto, our longet president. Thats why you wont see any chinese indonesian speaking hokkien or some shit like that
2016-10-14 18:21
To understand each other, yes, using Bahasa, but otherwise, not.
2016-10-14 18:34
What do you mean?
2016-10-14 18:36
I'm Chinese from Sumatera, at least in my city, we're still using Hokkien and speak good Bahasa. I think this not same as in Jakarta.
2016-10-14 18:40
Haha i'm from sumatera too. I'm batak actually but i know that chinese in sumatera can speak hokkien because most of them came from either singapore or malaysian right? Its not the same because chinese in jakarta and java dont know about chinese language because of soeharto influence
2016-10-14 18:47
My grandfather is from Taiwan, in turns, from Mainland. Fun side, my Bahasa sounds weird compare to Javanese people.
2016-10-14 18:58
What do you mean weird? I dont see someone weird if he or she speaks indonesian except for white ppl :D
2016-10-14 19:03
I have a strong Hokkien dialect, maybe that could be the reason.
2016-10-14 19:09
Lol just speak bahasa more. You can speak bahasa fluently i believe Btw what part of sumatera do you come from?
2016-10-14 19:14
Riau, more specifically, Bagansiapiapi. How about you?
2016-10-14 19:17
Im from medan but i move to jakarta . I have dutch blood from my great grandfather and some chinese but i'' from batak clan. I cant speak hokkien, but i can speak cantonese not too fluent
2016-10-14 19:22
Lol, I actually like Cantonese language. But why Batak? (Chinese + Dutch =? Batak?) Still wondering and curious at the same time, could you please tell me more. :D
2016-10-14 19:31
My dad and mom are from medan (batak) but my great grandfather from my dad were dutch and married with local batak. My chinese side came from my grandmother One question : why dont you try move to another countries in asia instead of living in unknown areas? Just curious
2016-10-14 19:47
I see, sorry to make you explain it to me.
2016-10-14 19:51
Chill dude. I'm kinda boring af and you make me stay alive lol
2016-10-14 19:54
You know, economic plays a major role here. Pulled from Wikipedia: "In recent years, urbanization has been an issue. Most of the youth leave the town after high school to pursue a better life, or higher education in larger cities. They normally return for the traditional family reunion during the Chinese New Year celebrations." And I'm currently live in Jakarta.
2016-10-14 19:55
Okay. And what part of jakarta do you live atm? I live in east jakarta
2016-10-14 20:07
North Jakarta. And what I meant by economic, should I give my (read as opinion) explanation: Considered economic in Indonesia as a pie. This pie was shared mostly to people in Javanese (with population more than half of Indonesia total population). And we could concoluded that people in Javanese earn better than any others island in Indonesia. In short, more richer. :).
