The LAN finals for the second season of the Esport Championship Series will take place from December 9-11, with the last two days being played in the Anaheim Arena in Southern California - the organizers have announced.

After the ECS online season kicked-off last week, news regarding the LAN finals have been released: the ECS Season 2 LAN finals will take place in the 18,000 seat Anaheim Arena and promises to be the largest CS:GO event in SoCal so far.

The ECS LAN finals will be held in NA this time around

The tournament will feature eight teams - four from North America and four from Europe, with most of the top teams trying to qualify via the online league.

ECS Season 2 will also feature a $750,000 prize pool, with the exact distribution still undisclosed.

Information about tickets for the event will be available soon on the official ECS website.

Is this bait or what?? There won't be invites, do you know what ECS is? It's a league, like EPL, no invites, only qualified teams mate. It's fucking written on the article dude "The tournament will feature eight teams - four from North America and four from Europe, with most of the top teams trying to qualify via the online league." Baffles me how people actually can't read

Just skip school mate. It's not that bad, just a couple of days, you don't get events like that every day. You smart, a few missed classes won't be a problem.

I can't "just skip school". I live in LA but I go to school across the country at Boston University. Plus, I have final exams 1 week after this event.

Then why did you say school, meng? School != University But yeah, even if your uni was 2 hours away I'd still recommend not to go because on the contrary of school, uni is hard af, no matter how smart you are. Also, congratulations. I think Boston Uni is one of the best in your country right?

College and University are interchangeable terms in America, and college counts as school here lol. But trust, if I went to Uni only 2 hours away, I would 100% still go to watch the weekend arena matches. I wouldn't miss class lol And ya. It's ranked top 40 in the USA :D

I know that College and University are interchangeable terms. I just didn't know that College counts as school. But yeah, congratulations again :*

Someone help: Does "Anaheim Arena" refer to the Honda Center or the arena at the Anaheim Convention Center?
2016-10-15 06:06
It's not the Honda Center, I know that much.
