Epsilon over Soldiers; to cons. final

Epsilon defeated Space Soldiers 2-0 (Cache 16-10, Dust2 16-12) in the lower bracket final to rematch GODSENT in the consolidation final, which will decide the second spot at the ELEAGUE Major's Main Qualifier.

Epsilon started Cache the better despite losing the pistol round, as they triumphed in the following forcebuy and took a 3-1 lead. Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş' four kills and a 1v2 made the score even, and his two headshots with a deagle in a forcebuy two rounds afterwards helped his team get up to 6-5.

The Swedes grabbed a 8-7 half in the end and made it 11-7 with a pistol round going their way. Space Soldiers had a few successful rounds as Terrorists themselves, including a 1v3 from Tugay "TuGuX" Keskin, but Epsilon were in the driving seat on their defence and picked up map one at 16-10.

BARBARR led the way as Epsilon won Cache 16-10

William "draken" Sundin began Dust2 against Space Soldiers with an all-headshot quad-kill. He then also clutched a 1v2 in the first gunround, which rocketstarted Epsilon to a 7-0 lead as CT while the AWPer continued to tear the Turks apart.

Space Soldiers got on their feet afterwards and began putting rounds on the board for seven rounds on their Terrorist side, winning a few afterplant situations in the process.

A quick pistol round gave the Turkish side their first lead on map two and Engin "ngiN" Kor's four kills in the first gunround made it 11-8. Fredrik "REZ" Sterner then triumphed in a 1v3 while on an eco, equalizing it at 11-11. As the next two rounds were traded, Epsilon had the upper hand in economy and plowed through to a 16-12 victory to rematch GODSENT for a spot at the Main Qualifier.

Epsilon played extremely well in this series. GGWP to Space Soldiers as well, they did put up a great fight.

I agree with you but do you think GODSENT is close to major I don't think so.
2016-11-06 11:49
Godsent might win against epsilon in a bo3 and reach major qualifier, but it is so stacked, they have 0 chance to go through, not like this.

So GODSENT can still go to the major? I thought they were out already. Maybe the legends flusha and JW will give their best. If JW wakes up and plays to the level of flusha and lekr0 they might win. But that will be a hell of a brawl
2016-11-06 12:08
They have to beat epsilon in a bo3 again. Then, they will have reached a major qualifier. Over there, they will compete with the likes of FaZe, NiP, G2, Dignitas, nV, mouz, Cloud 9, etc etc etc. In their current shape I wouldnt say they could win against TyLoo.. TL;DR : Yes, it's possible but very unlikely.

Those guys better shape up. I would really like to have a sticker with their logo xD
2016-11-06 12:13
Would personally love new LDLC stickers, but it's one of those dreams that will never come true, I'm afraid :( I don't believe Godsent will reach major this time, but hey, it ain't the last major and the team isn't going anywhere. They sure do have skill and talent, and once they solve their inner issues they will easilg be at least top 20.

-jkaem +REZ
2016-11-06 11:41
Jkaem's spot is on question. If he performs well in his next event, he will stay in faze, if he doesnt then he's getting replaced. By kio.
2016-11-06 12:13
kio isn't much better than jkaem, unlike REZ. FaZe should release both and let them find their teams without any transfer fees.
2016-11-06 12:15
Not in control of this, that's what the players have decided to do. Also kio is pretty consistent so he isn't that bad of a choice. Rez on the other hand .. Have yet to see him show an outstanding performance playing against t1 teams.
2016-11-06 12:29
He had no chance to play against T1 teams in Epsilon. jkaem hadn't shown much vs T1 teams before Kinguin/G2 picked him. Let's see what he will show now vs BOTSENT.
2016-11-06 12:37
Not saying that he doesn't deserve this chance. Either way if I was faze I would disband, I don't see them achieving anything, kinguin was a much better team.
2016-11-06 12:40
Idk... I suppose karrigan can help them to achieve something, at least their T sides won't be like "so guys lets run'n'gun!" without any communication. allu is a good sniper, aizy and rain are good riflers, they only need 1 more guy that can frag, may be it's kio, may be it's REZ, but it's not jkaem for sure :-) I think FaZe can easily be a solid T2 team.

I don’t think it will matter who we will play, I think we will 2-0 both of them, maybe 2-1 but I’m really confident we will still go to the next step. Draken was right
