FaZe breeze past TSM

FaZe picked up a confident victory against TSM (2-0; Nuke 16-7, Mirage 16-3) in Group B's elimination match at the end of iBUYPOWER Masters day one.

The last match of day one saw TSM and FaZe lock horns on Nuke at first. The first three rounds went back and forth, but it was the European mixture who took control in the end thanks to great play from Håvard "rain" Nygaard.

FaZe continued to rack up rounds until it was 6-1, when Skyler "Relyks" Weaver clutched a 1v2, but TSM's economy got broken right afterwards. Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team switched over at a comfortable 11-4 as CT and won the second pistol round.

FaZe advanced to Group B's decider

Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen's quad-kill in the next forcebuy stopped FaZe in their tracks and gave TSM three rounds in a row, but the favored team managed to close the map out at 16-7 with the last four rounds.

On Mirage, FaZe got off to a flying start once they won the second-round forcebuy on the back of two important kills from rain. From there FaZe's Terrorist side took off, as they got up to 7-1 before TSM could muster a response.

FaZe didn't let go of any more rounds in the half with great play overall, including a 3v5 victory in the last round for a 13-2 lead. The second pistol round went TSM's way, but this time it was FaZe to reply in the forcebuy which pushed them to a swift 16-3 victory.

SicK feels like getting wasted on TSM hope he will reach the places he deserve and what a great performance by rain on nuke 147.1 adr with 2.20 rating and i'm really curious how long karrigan will continue to do such bad performances, I mean okay he is IGL but 45.6 adr against TSM is so way down.

16-7 16-3 How is he supposed to do any damage? His teammates are already doing 420/round. There's only 80 left, if you kill every single opponent every single round.

Karrigan said in the interview that he is currently completely concentrating on calling during the game, because they have had so little time to practice together.

You need to fix that 7-8 position in your IBP Masters page. It should be TSM not Faze
