Schedule out for DH Asia closed qual

SoStronk has released the bracket and schedule for DreamHack Masters Las Vegas Closed Asian Qualifier, which will commence from December 3-4.

The closed qualifier will consist of eight teams fighting it out in a online best-of-three single-elimination bracket. Only one team will make it to the $450,000 event in Las Vegas next year in February.

The strongest candidate to qualify for the main tournament is the dominant Chinese team, TYLOO followed by their domestic rival, VG.CyberZen and the champion of ROG Masters, TheMongolz

TyLoo given another chance to make an impact on the international scene

The Australian squad, Chiefs, has made the decision to not travel to Singapore for the online qualifier due to undisclosed reasons, and therefore will stay at home in Australia to compete against the other Asian teams at a ping disadvantage.

All the quarter-final matches will be played on the first day of the qualifier, accompanied by the semi-finals and Grand final on the last day. The schedule for the qualifier can be found below:

Saturday, December 3rd
08:00 Australia Chiefs vs. China VG.CyberZen* BO3
08:00 Indonesia Recca vs. Mongolia TheMongolz BO3
12:00 United Arab Emirates Risky vs. Thailand Signature* BO3
12:00 China TYLOO vs. China 5POWER BO3
Sunday, December 4th
08:00 Semi-final #1     BO3
08:00 Semi-final #2*     BO3
12:00 Grand final     BO3
*Will not be streamed, but GOTV will be available.

About half of these matches will not be streamed, but SoStronk has revealed that GOTV IPs will be provided to the public to watch. The majority of the matches will be streamed on SoStronk's Twitch channel here, including the Grand final.
