nV survive double OT vs. Immortals

EnVyUs have survived double overtime on Cache, winning 22-19 against Immortals to face dignitas in Group B's winners' match.

Immortals started on the offense on Cache after losing the knife and got off to a flying start, securing the pistol and the second gunround to break Envy' economy.

Kenny "kennyS" Schrub was struggling to make his mark with the AWP while Immortals kept on hammering on the Frenchmen's defense to get a 9-1 lead, sending nV on anti-ecos twice more in the process. Envy then broke the streak and got two rounds in a row with everyone pitching in, including kennyS who then started finding opening kills to help his team get five rounds in the half in total.

The Brazilian side won the second pistol round as well, but a bomb plant allowed Envy to buy in the third round and start clawing back. With several comfortable rounds, Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer and company lowered the deficit to just one round at 11-12.

EnVyUs clawed back from 1-9 to win in double overtime

With an aggressive setup in middle, Immortals stopped their opponents' streak at six in a row but couldn't string more rounds together themselves, which allowed Envy to equalize the score at 13-13. The next two rounds were exchanged again, which sent Immortals on a desperate forcebuy. João "felps" Vasconcellos got a crucial triple in a retake on the A bombsite with a CZ-75 to reach match point, but Envy survived the 30th round, sending the match to overtime.

After Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt got a double entry in the first round of OT, Lucas "steel" Lopes turned it around by exploiting Envy' rotation. felps then got a triple after a risky play through a smoke, while Envy got the last round on the back of Happy's 1v2. Envy looked to be in the driving seat with two rounds on their CT side, but they dropped the last one as the match deserved another set of overtime.

The Frenchmen managed to get two rounds as CT once more after losing the first. They then got to match point thanks to Christophe "SIXER" Xia's double entry on B, and kennyS's huge triple secured the close map for his squad.

Steel really impressed me. KennyS went huge a couple of rounds and will get the majority of the credit as usual but NBK was Nv's savior.

That will be fun to tell if SK is still way over IMT or if IMT are at the same level, it's quite hard to say that they're better because of Fox being a piece of shit but it will be a fun match to watch for sure.
