EnVyUs decimate dignitas on Nuke

EnVyUs decimated dignitas on the Danes' home map, Nuke, with a 16-3 scoreline to advance to ECS Season 2 Finals semi-finals from first place in Group B.

The match surprisingly came down to Nuke, Dignitas' favourite map as of late, where Envy started on the CT side and got off to a 3-0 start after Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer got a triple from the top of the hut.

Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke's triple and René "cajunb" Borg's 1v1 within the same round then gave Dignitas their first round, but they could only add one more before Envy replied with two shutdowns on the A bombsite.

EnVyUs had a fantastic CT side on Nuke to clinch first place in Group B

The Danes then switched it up and went B instead, which worked out, but once they went back to A they once again ran into a wall. Envy kept defending the sites with ease and got a fantastic 12-3 half before switching over.

With the pistol round going their way one-sidedly as well, there was little hope for Dignitas' comeback. The match was over at a shocking 16-3 when nV turned a 3v5 situation around in the first and only gunround of the second half.

Very well played by EnVyUs! Completely outplayed Dig on one of there best maps. Deserved the win :) and also made a cheeky $13.

I still don't understand why analysts keep calling teams "the best team in X map" when at the moment every team can beat each other in any given map. Dignitas was completely outclassed by an on point NV, a rare sight in recent times.
2016-12-10 04:28
Exactly. First 13 teams on HLTV rating can beat each other at any time. Teams have never been so even. Really interesting and hard to predict.
