GODSENT over dignitas for 2-0 record

With GODSENT defeating dignitas 16-11 on Mirage, the Swedes are now one win away from a spot at the ELEAGUE Major, while the Danish side fell to the 1-1 pool.

Dignitas got off to a fantastic start on Mirage due to Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel and René "cajunb" Borg winning 1v3's and the latter also saving a scary 1v3 attempt from Andreas "znajder" Lindberg for a 5-0 lead as CT.

Another close post-plant situation went GODSENT's way, although the Danish side picked up where they left off and got three more rounds due to breaking the Swedes' economy.

znajder had a few crucial plays in the match, including a 1v2 clutch

GODSENT ran away with the rest of the half with znajder and Jesper "JW" Wecksell winning two 1v2's in the process of getting five rounds in a row, while the last went the other way thanks to a crucial triple from Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, whose Dignitas grabbed a 9-6 half.

Because the Swedes picked up the pistol round as well the second gunround, Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen's side had to eco three times during the first five rounds. With a close 5v5 retake in the third full buy on both sides going their way as well, GODSENT were leading 14-10. It only took three more rounds for Markus "pronax" Wallsten & co. to close it out, as they advanced to the 2-0 pool of teams.

Lmao 2-0 Hellraisers Immortals and GODSENT this scene is so fucking wacky Although OpTic will probably end up 2-0 which will make it a little less weird looking If HR plays GODSENT that automatically means we'll have a relatively big surprise because nobody expected either to qualify
2016-12-16 23:07
Eh, I expected godsent to qualify, though I wouldn't have been too surprised if they didn't. I had them placed as like the 7th-10th best team at the qualifier.
2016-12-16 23:09
talk for yourself lol
2016-12-16 23:12
What was your list of teams you thought would qualify?
2016-12-16 23:13
I made no list but I had GODSENT qualifing anyway.

Both will qualify, they both deserve it. God beats g2 and digni, hellraizers beat NiP.
2016-12-17 11:16
I expected both GODSENT and HR to qualify.
2016-12-17 11:06
Think a lot of people expected Godsent to qualify

Godsent 2-0? unexpected Dignitas threw the 1st half for Godsent unfortunately, they got to 7-1 (bra71l) and they got to lose the game 16-11, choke or throw? idk. znajder carried Homesent too, that was not expected at all, and k0nfig played good AF, really right now, a pro player can't have 0.48 rating VS a tier 2 team. pretty close game i guess, gg

Lol 7-1 haha riperino
2016-12-16 23:06
neither. Godsent (and fnatic before it) is a CT sided team. Particularly with Godsent (no olof), their entries into sites are very weak. 6 rounds on T side is very good for them. Earlier in the year I think they got 2 rounds T side from astralis and came back on CT.
