WESG 2016 World Finals schedule out

The schedule for the event taking place in Changzhou, China has been revealed.

WESG 2016 World Finals featuring 24 teams will run from January 12-15 and hand out $1,500,000 in cash prizes, with the champions taking home a hefty $800,000 prize.

The contest will start with the group stage where there will be six teams in four groups. The first-placed teams will qualify for the quarter-finals while the second and third-placed ones will face each other in the round of 16.


Virtus.pro are the highest ranked team in the tournament (#5) 

After two days of group stage action, the round of 16 and quarter-final matches will be played on the third day while the semi-finals, third place decider game and the grand final will be held on the last day.
