mouz slam HR in round 2

mousesports have defeated HellRaisers 16-7 on Cache in the first game of the second day at the ELEAGUE Major, equalizing for a 1-1 score. HellRaisers is now one loss from elimination with a 0-2 score.

The battle between the two multi-national teams took place on the mousesports classic Cache and indeed the Nikola "NiKo" Kovač-led team had a great start to their CT side, as they reset HellRaisers following the first gun round, Chris "chrisJ" de Jong dancing elegantly around the checkers wall to take a triple kill with the big sniper rifle for a 4-1 lead.

Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow and co. managed to squeeze in both kills and plants, but both of mouz' AWP players kept enabling the straight reset twice against the hapless HellRaisers, NiKo taking care of business all by himself in the 12th round with a stunning collateral and a screen-tearing flick to stop the A main push with a quad kill. The concrete defense ended up with a 12-3 lead for mousesports.

chrisJ was omnipresent in mouz' CT defense

A scary prospect for HellRaisers going into their CT gear and botching the 5v5 retake was not going to help matters, but the EU Minor runner-ups were not down and out yet and sweeped aside the next A push with a force buy to stabilize for the time being, but with only two rounds to yield.

They pulled back for a 7-14 deficit and by some fate of evil they were not able to retake a 2v2 on B against a combined health of 8HP for the two mousesports players and chrisJ came out of the nail-biter with just a single health point. All was lost and mousesports closed out the map 16-7.

Disappointed by HellRaisers performance once again, they were different team on major qualifiers but seems they will get 0-3 as first, they were playing on random people on matchmaking, why in the hell they didn't go proper eco and buy properly on their t side can't understand it, they keep forcing and forcing so that resulted to losses in a row.

Very disappointing performance from HR, yet a very good comeback after a defeat to NaVi from Mouz. HR never really seemed to get involved into this major, so I would not be surprised too see them as the first team to go 0-3, however, if they can work on their issues and apply pressure they could easily do well. Mouz found it easy due to passive and predictable playstyle, if Mouz can continue this, they might actually get through the first stage.
