VP defeat Gambit, to the playoffs

Virtus.pro defeated Gambit 16-10 on Train and are the first team to grab a playoff spot at the ELEAGUE Atlanta 2017 Major.

Virtus.pro got a good start to the match with a 6-2 lead on the CT side of Train, but got caught off guard in the 9th round when Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko upped the tempo and rush ivy, overwhelming the A site to make it 6-3.

After picking up an anti-eco, Gambit were unable to convert a man advantage situation in the following round due to Paweł "byali" Bieliński picking up three massive M4A1-S kills from the popdog box. Virtus.pro were reset after losing to a B site push, but managed a full eco round win thanks to byali stepping up with three kills one again.

Despite the loss, Gambit mantained composure and secured the final two rounds of their Terrorist half, making the score 7-8.

TaZ in co. are in the playoffs of their 9th consecutive Major

Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas got four kills pushing B on the pistol round to extend the lead for the Poles, starting off a series of round wins for Virtus.pro. After losing five rounds as Counter Terrorists, Gambit managed to stop the rot by simultaneously shutting down pushes both at ivy and on B.

Virtus.pro proceeded to attack he A site in the following rounds, and were effective in splitting the defending Gambit players and capitalizing on the confusion, closing out the match 16-10.

Grats to Virtus.Pro for being first team get into playoffs, hope they keep plowing. Gambit was fighting hard too and still having high hopes for them. I really want Zeus to achieve more than Na`Vi on this major.

He is calling, and you can even see it by his playstyle in t site, he always puts himself in worst positions, but still its worth when they win the rounds, just pay attention next time you watch vp game.
2017-01-25 12:46
Pay attention? I have been watching VP since 2005 you fucking mongoloid

Not really, if just Taz and Snax (along with help of other vp players) are able to carry VP then neo playing badly is nothing wrong, it's better for him to focus on leading the teammates than his own KDR.

Hope Neo will perform better during play-offs (but still right now he's IGL and it seems that he's making good calls). Yesterday he died quite few times because he was trying to hard to get kill through smoke when covering Ivy
