Na`Vi blow away SK, to the playoffs

Natus Vincere destroyed SK Gaming od Dust2 (16-3) to secure a playoff spot with a flawless 3-0 record.

One of the most interesting matchups of 2016 returned in the second playoff decider of the ELEAGUE Major - Natus Vincere - SK. The CIS side was off to a good start - winning five out of the first six rounds.

Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's team replied with a silent A long push, catching Natus Vincere off guard, but were struggling to win consecutive rounds and Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács and co. were able to stabilize their economy and take the early game lead.

FalleN was forced to save the AWP for two rounds in the row as Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and co. shut down the offensives from the Brazilians. Seemingly closed out on both sites, SK tried to go for a B split in the last round of the half, but were once again locked out by Egor "flamie" Vasilyev and Denis "seized" Kostin.

High-fives all around for Na`Vi

The stand-in Ricardo "fox" Pacheco opened up the pistol round with two USP-S kills in the Long house, however, that wasn't enough for the Brazilians to close out the rounds as the three remaining Natus Vincere players got clean entries on B and held off the after plant.

13-3 down, SK went for a force buy and were on a brink of winning it, but flamie delivered in the 1v2 and Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev did the same in the following round to make it 15-3 for Natus Vincere. Epitacio "TACO" de Melo picked up the AWP to to try to hold off the B site push, but was obliterated by s1mple's AK-47, allowing the CIS team to close the match 16-3.

Tbh, I think that they lost because they wanted. For me, they weren't even really trying, that's why they get keked, maybe they want an easier team. This is just my opinion btw, problably they just weren't able to win. Na'Vi is unstoppable!

To support my statement, see SK players' twitter, they are acting like if is bad, but normal, like, not that bad. So I think they lost because they didn't want to play, maybe cause they don't want to show strats in one of their strong maps (at least used to be xD).
2017-01-24 23:35
theyre 2-0 why the fuck would they purposely lose and throw away being in the knockout stage and potentially risk going 2-3
2017-01-25 05:19
No offence, but your theory looks stupid as hell. They didn't want to show the strats so they have run like a bunch sheeps from A side to B side instead of trying to win by leaning on aim duels only (if they didn't want to show the strats). Also when is the time to show the strats if not in a main match of the group stage when they had a chance to destroy navi and have +1 day of rest. They just got anal raped, that's the story

This is not an excuse, this is a fact. I'm not saying that SK lost because NaVI had a better bootcamp. I said that "we can clearly see the difference" that a longer bootcamp makes. Navi teamplay was on point. I'm not being mean or stupid, so don't act like an autistic..

2017-01-24 23:25
You know what's most funny, that the ukrainian is shitting on you, he should learn from his teams. Literally there is no better example of two teams that are so closely related yet diffrent countries. The mutual respect between NaVi and SK is so high so NaVi isn't upset if they lose from SK nor vice versa. But yeah the average HLTV user has to flame right ....
2017-01-25 00:36
yea bro, last time they played hltv.org/match/2306295-sk-natus-vincere-.. navi didnt get double digits in neither map and simple went 26-41 overall. but that's how hltv works :/
2017-01-25 00:40
I don't mean it like that, rather that the brazilians should cheer for NaVi when they'd win and the Ukrainians when SK would win (okay not in a face off) but genually speaking, SK will help NaVi and NaVi SK. Those showmatches and bootcamps at eachothers places aren't coincindence ... They are just good friends, like when that girl asked at fallen that they became good on Mirage again, first thing he said "Well NaVi became good on cobble again as well" That's what bothers me, the thrashing on eachother from fans while the actual teams are good friends

Despite fox managed to get some frags and impact kills, the 30 yo bloke is still blamed for sk performance, the Brazilians are called monkeys and wannabes came out to show their rage behind a keyboard. Na`Vi has the Best roster in the World. At last they managed to show their full-potential. 16:3'd sk. And lost only 12 rounds for 3 games! Insane for Na`Vi!
2017-01-25 01:41
NaVi looking very strong.
2017-01-25 02:31
OMFG, GJ Na`Vi! 16:3! Seems like LEGENDS ARE BACK!

SK isnt doing well cuz EL has forbidden TACO and FOX to wear their beanies/hats lmao. SK had a shitty day and I hope they can fix their tactical and mechanical issues against astralis
2017-01-25 06:29
No. It's a real level of SK cs. SK is nothing with huge luck. They had a good timing when won majors, coz euroteams had different problems.
2017-01-25 07:44
+1 winning a major against navi with injured guardian or against liquid really takes the competition down a notch.
2017-01-25 08:54
> SK isnt doing well cuz EL has forbidden TACO and FOX to wear their beanies/hats lmao. Because that's how brazilians cheat on lan.

Did someone replace Fallen's mouse and keyboard when he wasn't looking ? #JogonSK
2017-01-25 10:17
FalleN was absolutely terrible, completely let his team down.

Even as a dying fan of SK Gaming current Line Up, you can't enter in a tournament struggling so much to win the early matches and expect to get very far in the tournament. The match VS FaZe was hell on earth. They HAVE to improve their pistol rounds. It's obviously crushing their game. When you look to the Score and is losing for 3-0, then you lose the next round, the effect is devastating on every team. Fallen also is suffering in his knew "position", giving AWP to FOX. I Hope they got a nice rest for today's match. #RUNSK

Navi did well their job congratz... SK needs urgent a coach, a person that can say different opnions, can say whats is wrong. I think Fallen gets too overwhelmed in some moments of the game, too much to think, strategy, gameplay, what's wrong... With Fox we dont see Fallen and Cold with alp like old times... in this game they tried to faked mane times but navi just kept waiting, SK played the game of NAvi in slow motion, did no have speed plays, they lost in communication as well, Lack of training time yet...
