Liquid eliminate mouz in Atlanta

Liquid demolished Mousesports on Nuke (16-4), eliminating the European team and getting one win away from the playoffs.

The elimination match between Liquid and mousesports ended up being on Nuke - a map the North American side had decent results on, while the Europeans had not played it in a competitive match for quite some time.

The start of the match reflected that, as Liquid got to a 5-0 lead with mousesports barely making a dent on their defenses. Nikola "NiKo" Kovač picked up four kills on A to get his team on the board, but Jacob "Pimp" Winneche denied their plant on the lower site to reset the European team in the following round.

Spencer "Hiko" Martin and co. continued to roll mousesports, getting a 11-1 lead before losing an anti-eco, again on the A site. Liquid tried to change up their CT side, pushing agressively from secret and ramp, but mousesports won some duels and held off the retake of the A site.

Liquid finally closed out a match in time

mousesports ended the first half with three round wins in the row to make it four all together, however, Liquid took the pistol with a quick vent dive and followed that up with Nick "nitr0" Cannella clutching a 1v2 anti-eco on B.

Chris "chrisJ" de Jong got an entry in their first gun round, but Liquid clutched it out on the lower site and closed out the map 16-4.

Grats to Liquid hope they will get their legend status back too. Such a splendid performance done by James "Spiidi" Bond for breaking his own record and going 0-0-12, I mean cmon did they choose him over gob b? Even gob b would get easy trade kills that spiidi missed yet he would manage mouz more better than NiKo does as IGL so NiKo would focus more on his game. I'm so glad that mouz eliminated, hope they will replace Spiidi and denis soon with real players even semi-pro's on FPL would do better than this duo.

Mouz lost the game at the veto. Wtf were they thinking when they let nuke go to the "randomizer". Spidii was non existent, lowel got some good entries at the end of the T half but that was about it. Niko keeps tilting the shit out of his team. Liquid finally catch a breather after 2 exhausting matches.

Everyone saying NiKo leave, you are wasting your career and shit.. you guys do realise that his attitude/emotions is way too bad to fit into any team right? He can't handle being behind on the scoreboard.

Stop blaming just Spiidi lol, what should he do,just blame the team and NiKo putting pressure on it and ragging all the time... like cmon even I that i am not a pro player i dont rage that much also you cant blame only spidi because others players its not like the performed any better with 5-6 kills Niko is toxic af.
2017-01-25 19:47
Yeah Mouse just had no idea of how to play on Nuke. Niko getting a couple useless kills doesn't mean he isn't just as much of a problem. You can't get BTFO'd that bad if anybody is doing what they're supposed to.
