Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez has been signed by LDLC and will be representing the French organization starting with the upcoming season of ESL Pro League.
The Swiss player remained active in the French scene though, joining EnVyUs as a coach in the beginning of 2016, but held the position for only six months before deciding he would try out playing once again.
Maniac returns to a French-speaking roster
In the second part of 2016 Maniac made his comeback as a player and joined Unity that later became Rogue. The international team was not a particularly successful venture for the Swiss player and he was left teamless once again in October.
Maniac will now reunite with Ex6TenZ in LDLC, returning to a French-speaking team after more than a year of exile. Maniac will be filling the gap left by Alexandre "xms" Forté who will presumably be joining Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer's new team.

"I am very honored and humbled to be given such an opportunity. Lately my career wasn’t easy nor certain but I did not give up. I practiced hard and I dreamt to get another chance. Today I promise myself and everyone that I will do everything in my power to honor their trust."
"Thank you all for your support and thank you LDLC to give me another reason to push myself more and more."
