Lower production quality though
2017-02-15 14:49
Not necessarly
2017-02-15 14:51
Yes actually, ECS ELEAGUE have been consistently better for the players and stream quality
2017-02-15 15:37
ofc ESL is shit, but thats cuz ESL I think these people could have events in Europe and they would be good
2017-02-15 15:38
I think they could too but NA production quality is undeniably the highest production quality currently
2017-02-15 15:47
Problem is that its ESL that does most of the big eu events, and they rutinely fuck up When dreamhack/starseries does events they always have great productionquality, so I feel like it comes more down to the organiser than the continent Its not as simple as saying "eu" and "na" production
2017-02-15 15:50
I agree it's certain companies, but the NA Founded companies have consistently had better production quality and better conditions for the players as well
2017-02-15 15:52
Easy to say that when eleague is the only na founded company innit?
2017-02-15 15:56
ECS?
2017-02-15 15:56
Isnt that based in england tho?
2017-02-15 15:57
I'm pretty sure it's an NA Founded company.. not completely certain
2017-02-15 15:58
Location on liquidpedia just says world, but Im pretty sure theyre basically rebranded faceit, which is based in London
2017-02-15 16:00
Oh fuck me, whatever haha. I guess I figured it was NA since the finals were based somewhere in America.
2017-02-15 16:01
First ecs finals were in London I guess that means na has the best average production quality xd tbh tho I didnt think the major ws too great
2017-02-15 16:05
I thought the matches were superb, that's irrelevant but pertaining to the quality I don't believe there was ever really an lag or mic malfunctions or like PC fuck ups. Also all other ELEAGUE events have been very high quality for both production and the players themselves
2017-02-15 16:07
Yup the 2 seasons were superb The picture quality was pretty meh. They had some sound-issues. I also thought the disposition was pretty weird. They played each of the player profiles and other videos they did like 6 times each, and the analysts had like 2 minutes to analyse the match, which included an introduction to each team every time. I agree with you that the matches was great. It was kinda like ESL new york. The production was pretty bad, but the amazing matches saved it.

Viva LAS VEGAS. No french team to root for, even though i'm always rooting for kio and FaZe before the french teams, it still sucks.
2017-02-15 14:23
People in Europe that's working normal business hours will probably miss a majority of the interesting games. A shame for such a stacked tournament.

actually the problem are not events in NA is their organization thta is totally shit. the easily could have earlier matches and everyone could watch the finals etc
2017-02-15 15:39
It's tailored for an NA audience which builds up popularity in general. Small EU countries don't have the publicity NA has

CS is EU any event in EU have more viewers and more people buying tickets lul
2017-02-15 15:55
Just like the most recent major which had the highest viewership in history by far? Or the fact it's also being watched on television bringing more revenue to CSGO and more publicity?

wait for the next major in EU that was csgo growing not because the event was is in NA also the major had a worldwise match time agree with the TV point
2017-02-15 15:59
I agree to an extent, I still think growth in NA is more important for CS as a whole. I feel true fans will stay up late or get up early to watch matches - that's what I did for nearly all EU tournies.

What a stupid decision to have this tournament in Las Vegas... eleague in Atlanta was fine, but with Las Vegas being so far to the west, it ruins everything for anyone not watching from NA. Cyka.
