Astralis move past OpTic

The North American team is facing North tomorrow in Group A deciders' match, as they lost the winners' game for 16-9 versus Astralis in Nuke.

The North American squad started on T-side with a ramp push that turned out in a succeeded A execution and a subsequent 3-0 scoreline. Although the Danish team won the first gun round, OpTic had enough money to secure the following one. Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen managed to kill 3 with the MAG-7 in a force buy, which eventually led Astralis to a 4-4 tie.

dupreeh had a big impact during both sides

In the 9th round, Keith "NAF" Markovic won an 1v1 against Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and his team took the lead, but the match kept going in Astralis's favor as they only lost one more round and finished their CT-side with a four round margin.

Astralis almost won their first Vegas' pistol round, but Tarik "tarik" Celik didn't let dupreeh complete his 1v2 clutch. As the Danish players picked guns, they didn't lose any more rounds and kept winning until match point. From that point, the North American team won one more round and lost the game for 16-9.

Key moment: Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen's 2v3 in round 20th completely broke OpTic's economy as they were in their second CT-side buy. From that point forward, Astralis lost only one round.

PotM: Although Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander was important, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen is our Player of the Match thanks to his big impact kills during both sides and helping his team secure a seven round difference.

"contesting" or "facing" work in this context. "Disputing" does not.

favor as they only lost one more round and finished their CT-side with a four round margin. Just wondering how can someone finish a half with 15 rounds with a 4 round margin :) It's an odd number every time.
