Gambit to playoffs over VP

Gambit move on in first place at DreamHack Master Las Vegas' Group B after defeating Virtus.pro for 16-10 in Cobblestone.

Gambit started off on T-side with a B execution in a back and forth round that turned out in their favor. The anti-ecos were fast and succeeded plays on the same bombsite. In the first gun round and the following one, Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's team kept going B.

Gambit just executed B for eight straight rounds

The next two rounds had a slower pace, but the CIS squad insisted on the same exact bombsite. As they secured a seven round advantage, Virtus.pro managed to get the following four rounds. In round 11th, Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov and Rustem "mou" Telepov pulled out a 2v2 and got Gambit to a 8-4 scoreline lead. A triple kill by Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski in round 14th led the Polish team to win one more round, but first half finished 10-5 as their opponents won the last one.

Virtus.pro won the second pistol with a triple kill by Paweł "byali" Bieliński. Although they won the subsequent round, a save by Gambit let them win round 18th and the next two. The Polish squad got a four round difference after Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas's 1v1 against mou. Despite Filip "NEO" Kubski's team effort and semi-buy win, Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev and his teammates continued to control the match and have guaranteed their place at playoffs with a 16-10 scoreline.

Key moment: In round 17th, Gambit were able to save an UMP-45 and three kevlars. In the following round, Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's opened it with a CZ kill, which turned into a 2v3, picked AK-47 and killed two more in B site, as the CIS team secured one of the most important rounds of the match.

PotM: Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev had 27 kills, an 114.3 ADR and an 1.60 rating during the game, which means he was the most important player of the match in terms of stats.

I don't think VP played very bad, they didnt have good economy for like first 6 CT rounds, one CT round they lost cause pasza smoked off long B and he didn't do it right and got punished, like 2 T gun rounds they lost cause they got sprayed through smokes after execute on B, so all in all it wasn't that bad IMO
2017-02-17 03:02
They just played bad, Neo was caught off guard so many times on B. And of course, Vp's problem stills there, they keep giving their opponents too much space room to work and because of that the plow that we all want to see never comes.

VP just care about fkn majors, this is sad
2017-02-17 09:46
i dont believe that for a second. i'm sure they want to win and prove themselves in vegas after the finals defeat at atlanta.

ELeague?, ESL NY? Epiccenter? Dreamhack Bucharest? I mean #67 hit the point with his comment. But it might be harder as we could expect. Maybe the feel the pressure! not only to deliever no to overcome their toughest defeat

Hope VP will get rekted hard by Fnatic so Taz can STFU. The guy can't aim for shit and is being carried by Snax and sometimes Byali, but somehow says that aim is not that important anymore...

Maybe if you could remember the interview of taz after misfit game he said after the major we just didnt talk and went out ways. So first stop god damn complaining because Taz did say they didnt train just hoped aim would work so they basically had a hard time. Why are all you excpecting them to win every god damn game i love VP but you should understand they cant win all games.
