Following Virtus.pro advancing to semi-finals at DreamHack Masters Las Vegas, Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski gave us his thoughts on Virtus.pro's journey thus far and what lies ahead.

The group stage saw Virtus.pro edging Misfits and falling short to Gambit on Cobblestone, before the Poles advanced to quarter-finals with a one-sided affair against fnatic.

Jarosław "⁠pashaBiceps⁠" Jarząbkowski's side took down MOUZ on their way to semis, with Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač wreaking havoc on Mirage but to no avail.

We asked pashaBiceps about Virtus.pro's matches, dealing with the Bosnian star, as well as his preference between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Astralis for semi-finals:

hardly he's not even that good, or consistent look at stats and dont listen to thorin or whoever, analysts like him are trying to build storylines for hype, and often they exaggerate... he was good vs north at the major and ok here so far imo it's taz who became really good since cologne last year and that's what made vp 'good' but no one talks about that...

I've seen him in 2014 as well, and being a user myself, I was 100% undoubtedly sure he was high as fuck on speed. I was waiting for him to give an interview after his recent return to form, and here it is again. Pasha needs massive doses of amphetamine to do well, and he sure as fucks uses it.

When was the last time he streamed? 2 years ago? Also, he wasn't jittery at all during the time he played like crap. Long enough for a detox. Anyway, using amphetamine, even daily, isn't something that I'd consider intolerable for teammates, and could be easily hidden from family, especially if they don't suspect such a thing for you and don't know the symptoms. It's not even a major health hazard. 80mg amphetamine pills are routinely prescribed to ADHD patients. Snorting one or two tenths of a g before every important game isn't anything dangerous.

fair enough points made towards a possible clean time during most of the time last year. i wouldnt think of it as intolerable either, painting the cirumstances you made. but i doubt there are a lot of people out there who really restrict to consume a specific amount. most slowly prograde to consume more up to the point obvious symptons show themselfes and have to stop/detox/reduce or surroundings/habits/"friends" change. i still kinda doubt that hes really into amphs due to his healhty lifestyle. snorting some before an important matchup could be possible, but still wouldnt explain his overall hyperactive/clowny behaviour he used to have the last couple of years overall, considering he wasnt using on daily basis. i have no doubts a lot of pros are or used to get prescribed ritalin e.g. in na. still, there have been a lot of remarks since summer 2015 and c9s short run, which stated, that there were tests taken at higher level tournaments. edit: the twitch clip is kinda hypnotic of his own, cause neither the cameraman, nor the background nor mantursse stopped moving. this kinda emphasized pashas behaviour, besides maybe some natural dopamin after winning in a strong fashion etc.
