The Polish Esports League has been announced, with five invited teams and three who made it through qualifiers and boasts ~$30,000 in prizes.

The league will be played out online from beginning to end, with all teams facing each other on two maps per game day, for a total of 28 game days. After the league phase, an online playoff with the four best teams will take place.

MICHU's Kinguin will take part in the Polish Esports League

The prize pool will be distributed partly depending on match results, as teams will get around $300 for every win, and half of that if they tie during the league phase. The rest of the money will go to the top four teams in the playoffs.

The first game day will be on May 7 at 21:00, and will run until June 26 before jumping into the playoffs which will be played in early July. To watch the matches, head to the esportnow channel, here.

Here is a list of the teams which will be playing the league:

Invited Qualified
Poland Kinguin Poland Pompa Team.black
Poland PRIDE Poland PACT
Poland VenatoreS Poland Grubasy
Poland Pompa Team
Poland inetkox

Prize distribution:

1. - ~$11,500
2. - ~$4,300
3. - ~$2,000
4. - ~$1,000

its online only...VP reverse onliners. LAN only so no reason for them to show. Plus they can stream for a couple hours and make as much as this

VP LAN form recently looks shakier than a magnitude 10 earthquake

I agree last LAN, but while most teams gradually rise and fall, VP can go from first to worst back to first over a year much differently than any other team. I would rather be VP and win sometimes and suck other times, than be some of the other high ranked teams that never win.

VP have been that way for a long time not playing well and then become unbeatable and go back in a slump. The scary thing about them is you don't know which team is showing up.

i consider a team t1 only if they are good at lan and online. like currently faze, astralis etc. vp sucks in epl and btw. they sucked on their last lan aswell (even infront of polish crowd in katowice)

you could be right, I have not seen them. Pride has upset potential too but I don't see it happening with them. I will have to watch PACT. My $ is on Kinguin but they are so hard to judge...1 day playing close and sometimes beating Tier 1-2 teams. Other days awful.

Don't stoop to his level. Polish CS has good teams too. And more competition will only help this. I doubt Danish CS will go away soon but neither will VP and other Polish teams on the rise. Events like this are good for the growth of CS just ignore the haters it's not like you are NA I am NA so cri been free looonnng time

Lol normal person on hltv, did I go back in time? You are right I shouldnt respond. thanks
2017-04-19 15:04
haha there are a handful...your reply seemed rational enough so I thought you deserved it. Sometimes I get a good agreement or debate on here but not much because even 25+ YOs think if they h8 or b8 they are cool here. 1day maybe HLTV can be somewhere in between Thorins Thoughts, and h8ing and b8ing but not too close to either wack job extreme
