DH Austin EU closed qual. teams set

With the open portion of the DreamHack Austin European qualifier done, the organizer has released the bracket for the closed portion that will be played tomorrow.

The best-of-one European open qualifier for DreamHack Austin was brought to an end today, with some upsets happening in the final stages. We saw LDLC narrowly miss out by losing to iGame.com 16-14 in the final match, while fnatic Academy was eliminated by the Belarus squad K29 in the round-of-16.

gob b's team secured a spot in the closed qualifier

Qualifying alongside iGame.com was Fatih "gob b" Dayik's BIG, who showed their dominance by only dropping seven rounds in the last two maps they played. The last two open qualifier spots were taken by Vega Squadron and the Swedish-Norwegian mix TzatzikiKlubben.

The closed-qualifier bracket paired these four teams with four teams that were invited to the closed qualifier, leaving us with following matchups to be played tomorrow:

Europe mousesports vs. Sweden TzatzikiKlubben
Europe HellRaisers vs. Germany BIG
Poland Kinguin vs. Finland iGame.com
Sweden GODSENT vs. Russia Vega Squadron

These eight squads will battle in a single elimination best-of-three bracket, with only the best one securing a spot at DreamHack Austin.

The following teams will be present at the event:

Brazil Immortals  United States Liquid
Denmark Heroic Kazakhstan Gambit
France G2 United States Cloud9
Europe EU qual.  North America NA qual.

May i ask why gambit matchfixers are invited why not kinguin why not mouseposrts there are better teams that deserve the chance because gambit isnt a good team and they need to go for those matches instead of tho 2 teams that i just name
