CLG crush UYA

With a dominant 16-3 win on Cobblestone, CLG secured their place in the 1-1 pool while sending UYA to the 0-2 pool.

Starting on the CT side, CLG got off to a flying start after Stephen "reltuC" Cutler and Ethan "Ethan" Arnold combined for five in the pistol round. The North American squad got up to 5-0 after one costly anti-eco and a few clean-ups before UYA got on the board with an A attack.

The Chinese side couldn't string rounds together due to Pujan "FNS" Mehta and reltuC turning a close retake situation around, allowing their team to climb to 9-1. The next three rounds went back and forth, but it was CLG who got the better of the deal and picked up a dominant 12-3 half.

CLG advance to the 1-1 pool

After the pistol round went the way of Kenneth "koosta" Suen and company as well, there was very little UYA could do, as CLG finished it off at 16-3.

PotM: The team's newest addition, Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland, was CLG's most consistent player in the dominant win with a 1.48 rating and 113 ADR, as well as seven multi-kills and four opening kills.
