Na`Vi take down fnatic in Kiev

Natus Vincere are now 2-0 at the SL i-League StarSeries finals after beating fnatic 16-9 on Overpass.

Starting out on the CT side, Na`Vi took the pistol round after denying fnatic's A execute, with Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev and Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács splitting the kills between themselves.

After losing both eco rounds, fnatic won the first gun round thanks to a trio of kills from Jesper "JW" Wecksell, but Na`Vi rallied back right after as GuardiaN took three quick kills inside A. With the Slovakian going huge round after round, Na`Vi's defense continued to flourish and they jumped out to a 12-1 lead.

Na`Vi's winning streak then came to an end following a 1v3 clutch from Dennis "dennis" Edman. fnatic would follow that up with another round, but the Swedes knew they had a mountain to climb if they hoped to overturn the huge deficit.

GuardiaN had many impact kills on the CT side

The CIS team further added to their lead following a chaotic pistol round. After winning the anti-eco, Na`Vi were caught off-guard by fnatic's force buy, with JW getting three kills with a stolen AK.

fnatic dug deep and went on a massive run, closing the gap to five rounds. Na`Vi were starting to feel the pressure, but they kept their cool and reached match point with an A split. With their economy in shambles, fnatic went into the next round with a shoddy buy, and there was nothing they could do stop their opponents from taking the map.

PoTM: With GuardiaN's AWP on point, Na`Vi's defense was impenetrable for most of the first half. The Slovakian talent also picked up two key frags in the 24th round to help his team to put an end to fnatic's great run.

Do Na'Vi now get their "Kings of the Swiss format" crown? They decimated during the Swiss stage at ELeague and now at SL too, I hope they'll actually get shit done in the play-offs this time, though.
2017-04-05 18:54
they will
2017-04-05 18:54
they won't
2017-04-05 19:09
they are expected to dominate at bo1 since they are only good at mirage\train\overpass, but when it comes to quarters usually their opponent bans 2 out of 3 these maps so navi suck hard p.s. and they will fail again it's 100%

Na'Vi on 2017: ELEAGUE Major - strong group stage 3:0,loose to Champs(best team at the moment) Astralis...Las Vegas - past group stage, loose to SK(2-nd-3-rd best team)...IEM Katowice - again over group and again loose to Astralis...So 3 events and 3 1/4 finals. So if they want win this event they must take down Astralis and SK(they are better teams at this moment)...VP i think 50/50...
