NiP pass MVP Project at StarSeries

In the last match of the 0-1 pool at StarSeries, NiP comfortably passed MVP Project 16-9 on Cobblestone.

Starting on the T side on Cobblestone, NiP ran a quick A strat that gave them the first three rounds without much trouble.

MVP Project then decimated a couple of fast B attacks and went on a streak of five rounds with Hae-Sung "HSK" Kim putting up the most frags, which caused NiP to take a timeout and slow down the pace.

The slow approach helped NiP break the streak and get several rounds on the board, including one in which Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg clutched a 1v3, for an 8-5 lead. The remaining two rounds went the Koreans' way, however, as Soon-Woo "Argency" Kwon delayed the bomb plant long enough for the time to run out and HSK put up a triple at the end of the half.

NiP secure Cobblestone despite an unexpectedly tough T side

Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund's three kills gave NiP the second pistol round and Richard "Xizt" Landström piled on one of his own in the first gunround, allowing NiP to climb up to 13-7.

The next round went the way of Hyun-Pyo "XigN" Lee and company with Jung-Hyeon "rindA" Jeon landing three kills, but their economy was broken once the Swedes got the next round. With that, NiP didn't take long to close out the match at 16-9.

GeT_RiGhT played horribly, missing easy shots, bad positioning. hsk had peeked for too long, but NiP wasn't ready to anticipate his move. draken had bad positioning, but MVP is not taking advantage of it. Hope NiP can bounce back tomorrow with a good scoreline.
2017-04-05 20:15
wanted them to go out 0:3 but sadly there are asian teams, o well 1-3 is also fine if nip plays like clg/hr ill be mad. lets hope astralis can 16-0 them
2017-04-05 20:17
CLG and HR could both beat NiP

hsk won every single AWP duel vs draken, and after this draken is the MotM? I aren't think that xD f0rest is the true MVP
