compLexity sign Slemmy

compLexity have announced via their website that they have completed the signing of Alec "Slemmy" White from Selfless.

The former Cloud9 member had been playing for the team on a trial basis since March 29, with compLexity owner Jason Lake expressing at the time his hope that the new player's leadership would "right the ship".

During Alec "Slemmy" White's trial period, the team beat Selfless, the Miami Flamingos and RONIN, and recorded defeats against Liquid and eUnited.

Slemmy is officially a coL player

The 26-year-old, who will replace Michael "Uber" Stapells on compLexity's roster, will soon join up with the rest of the squad at the organisation's gaming house, in Denver, as they prepare for the upcoming ESL Pro League matches and the Americas Minor.

“I'm thrilled to be given the opportunity to join up with compLexity CS:GO team," Slemmy told compLexity's website.

"After having conversations with the players and management I feel that everyone on board has a great desire to improve and work hard.

"The team is full of very talented players and I am confident I can help us come together and play good team CS. It is an honor to play under such a historic esports organization."

With Slemmy's addition, compLexity now have:

United Kingdom Rory "dephh" Jackson
United Kingdom Kia "Surreal" Man
United States Derek "desi" Branchen
Canada Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor
United States Alec "Slemmy" White

yea I agree but his p250 is in the best in NA. I literally speak from experience xD But hes pretty good at calling for mid tier teams which makes up for it. Trust me coL will be better off with Slemmy

He's a cool player now.
2017-04-07 01:29
Now they must kick dephh and maybe surreal
2017-04-07 01:35
dephh is better than surreal, but 2017's been a rough start I guess...
2017-04-07 01:48
Can be, but Imo they are both bad
2017-04-07 01:49
I don't think they are bad. But equally, it doesn't seem they are impacting enough to be making a top 3 NA team any time soon. Who knows, maybe Slemmy can offer some proper guidance which they've lacked.

Not the best signing, but I have seen an improvement. They really should sign tr1p on as the coach instead of Warden.

take out the uk players and start picking up young talents from premier.

about time uber got shitcanned
2017-04-07 12:12
I might be the only one but I am a fan of Complex; mainly because they have UK's only chance of doing anything in CS. In a way, they're a great team. They rival Liquid and maybe even C9 in fragging, Surreal is one of the best AWPers in NA atm when he's on point. They just don't bother to use strats and I don't think they read-up on what their opponent's do. If Slemdog really tries, they can probably get quite a bit done. If not, it's probably time to disband

During Alec "Slemmy" White's trial period, the team beat Selfless, the Miami Flamingos and RONIN, and recorded defeats against Liquid and eUnited. are you fucking kidding me? wins against: the worst team in pro consisting of 5 players who can't hang in premier, A FUCKING OPEN TEAM, and a team that has been mid premier w/ washed players. defeat against: a team with a new signing + have been on constant decline for some time now and a FuCkInG pReMiEr TeAm. what the hell is the thought process here? how is this signing vindicated at all? how are any of their signing vindicated at all for that matter??? is warden making some more legendary csgo player transactions which haven't led to a solid lineup in 2 years??? bottom three pro league no doubt. have fun fielding a premier team for the next three seasons. come on Jason.
