CPH Games reaches playoffs

MIRAA
April 15th, 2017 01:09

Copenhagen Games' main tournament has reached the knockout stages, with only eight teams remaining in contention for the title.

The biggest surprise of the group stage came in the form of LDLC, one of the invited teams, not finishing top two in their group following a 0-2 defeat against North Academy in the decider match.

Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans's team were not the only invitee to be sent home early, with Fnatic Academy finishing at the bottom of their group following defeats against Singularity and eFuture, and Plantronics placing third in their group after a three-map series against NRG.

LDLC bow out of CPH Games in the group stage

The playoffs will use a best-of-three, single-elimination format. Below you can find the matchups for the quarter-finals, which will start at 10:00:

Germany BIG vs. Sweden Epsilon
Finland iGame.com vs. Denmark Singularity
Denmark Tricked vs. United States NRG

A lot of people were commenting in the North Academy announcement that North.A's team was better than their main team, and tbh it looks like there might be some truth to that

Why are you surprised about LDLC performance MIRAA? They never manage to achieve anything, they always fail... another tournament here, another fail. And you're surprised? Come on. Their lineup is not good enough for such hype. I will believe people expect them to win because they have resemblances of the major-winner LDLC, when they read this tag. The two surprises of group stage were Singularity advancing, and PRIDE falling.

i can't understand why someone want to play with Emilio... So is it ok to cheat one time and then make a comeback? Good to know when next majon is
2017-04-15 04:24
Maybe they accept cheating or have been cheating also
2017-04-15 09:48
So when someone's stolen something from a store, got caught and was punished appropriately. It's your opinion they should never be allowed to enter any store anymore?
2017-04-15 13:42
He can't play majors, just like qkly, sf, smn and the others. But happy also has VAC in 1.6 but u think it's okay that he plays?
2017-04-15 19:58
Epsilon to win
2017-04-15 04:37
T4 tournament because of the shitty cheater playing in there.
2017-04-15 08:22
haku haku emilio dont watch that shitty tournament where cheaters are allowed to play and dont support that shitty team with the players who play with him
2017-04-15 09:32
