SK defeated EnVyUs 2-0 in the first match at cs_summit (16-9 on Cache and 16-3 on Mirage).

The $150,000 cs_summit kicked off with a best-of-three upper-bracket quarter-final between EnVyUs, who are playing their first LAN with this particular lineup, and SK who are currently ranked #4 in the Team Ranking.

The first map was Cache and the Frenchmen started on the T-side. Cédric "RpK" Guipouy's three opening kills brought his team the first round. EnVyUs also secured the following two rounds but lost a 1vs2 in the first weapon round (3-1).

SK got the job done

After getting their first round on the board, SK secured four more rounds with relative comfort to lead 5-3. Christophe "SIXER" Xia's two AWP kills to win a 2vs2 gave EnVyUs their fourth round but SK were able to respond immediately (6-4). SK led 9-6 at halftime.

EnVyUs grabbed the second half pistol round but the Brazilians won the next round with Marcelo "coldzera" David's 1vs2 clutch. The one-round wonders of EnVyUs continued as they picked up a round to trail 8-12 but instantly lost the next round. The Brazilians won the map 16-9.

EnVyUs couldn't challenge SK

Mirage, where SK started on the CT-side, was the second map of the series. coldzera got a triple kill in the pistol round to win it for his team and SK also picked up the anti-eco rounds (3-0).

Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom's opening kill in the first weapon round paved the way for EnVyUs to get their first round but SK didn't let their opponents start a streak, making it 4-1. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo & company won the half 12-3.

SK cruised to victory after winning the second half pistol round and won the match 16-3. They advanced to the upper-bracket semi-finals while EnVyUs are now in the lower bracket.

Finally SK can win a tournament. Only tier 2 teams as opponents.
2017-04-20 21:59
It's funny to read this because you say like SK has never won a tournament. It's easy for some newbies to say this kind of shit, but if I were you, I'd be more interested in meeting the team before I left talking bullshits. Also Brazil rules cs go,suck it and keep trying up for gold ;)

It's quite interesting how no top team appears to be gaining foothold as the best team right now. It always seems like there's someone there to beat the "best team".
