Immunity qualify for Asia Minor

Immunity won the Oceanic Qualifier for the Asia Minor, defeating Chiefs in the grand final with a 2-1 scoreline.

Immunity had a tough match in the quarter-finals of the Asia Minor Oceania Qualifier, barely edging out Jordan "Hatz" Bajic's AVANT with a 16-14 scoreline. In the semi-final of the qualifier, the team featuring Mark "deStiny" Kagan, Mohammed "MoeycQ" Tizani and Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga met Legacy. The series finished 2-0, with Immunity setting the tone straight away with a 16-2 victory on Nuke.

Gratisfaction and co. earned their spot at the Minor

It all came down to the grand final match against Chiefs, who defeated Funky Monkeys and Tainted Minds to get there. The series started with a nailbiter on Mirage, which ended 22-19 in favor of Immunity, but Chiefs replied with a 16-13 win on Inferno to tie the score at 1-1.

On Overpass, the last map, it was Callum "BURNRUOk" Henderson who had a massive game, carrying his team over the finish line with a +15 K-D and a 1.70 rating.

Why Renegades didn't participate in the qualifier? Are they Invited already?

probably, they wouldnt be able to participate in online qualifiers because they are in NA despite being the best AU team, so i would imagine they got invited (along with TyLoo)

I'd imagine they 're probably gonna try and qualify through the na minor this year. They had the choice last year and it fucked them over by being on the same day as esl finals.

who else would you invite to make it fair? considering the Chinese qualifier is the last one remaining, it's either TyLoo or ViCi to go through (or BoF, but unlikely). Inviting two Chinese teams would be unfair, and MVP Project is the best available option after them despite the fact that they lost to Mongolz.

tyloo and renegades are invited considering they are winner and runner-up from last minor. From chinese qualifier it's most likely flash gaming or vici will going to qualify
2017-05-02 10:00
Tyloo and Renegades already confirmed as the 2 invited team check minor.pglesports.com/ .That means we are down to China qualifer. It is probably going to be flash gaming eventhough I hope vici beat their ass and qualify.

alright cheers. imo Flash should be invited just because the entirety of the team can't play in any Chinese cup or qualifier because of fancy1, yet they still represent immense potential especially after obtaining kaze.

Fancy1's ban has been lifted tho. Plus tyloo should get the invite as they hold 3/5 players of the old line up. If flash gaming want to prove they are the best in china or even asia they should beat every team and qualify not just waiting for invites.

Thanks for the insight, friend. TyLoo should sure get the invite if Flash can participate in the qualifier - after all, despite not seeing them in action I'm quite sure they would manhandle the likes of Spotnet and 7642 for example. I'd really appreciate if you had a source for fancy1's ban being lifted. Can't remember reading that on HLTV, at the very least.
