Tricked replace Gambit at DH Tours

Tricked will fill in for Gambit at DreamHack Tours, the event's organisers have announced.

The Kazakhstani team have been forced to withdraw from the event as Abay "Hobbit" Khasenov cannot obtain a visa in time for the tournament due to a delay to the team's flight from Austin to New York.

Tricked, who finished runners-up in the European qualifier for DH Tours, will be taking Gambit's place in Group B, alongside G2, EnVyUs and HellRaisers (who have been moved from Group A). Their first match in the GSL group stage will see them take on Richard "shox" Papillon's men.

Tricked will attend DreamHack Tours

Below you can the updated groups, which reflect the new seeding:

Group A Group B
CIS Natus Vincere France G2
Denmark Heroic Europe HellRaisers
Europe mousesports France Envy
United States Misfits Denmark Tricked

This will be Tricked's second international event in just one month, after they recently attended Copenhagen Games, where they finished third-fourth following a defeat to dreamchasers in the semi-finals.

The Danish team will travel to Tours with:

Denmark Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen
Denmark Patrick "es3tag" Hansen
Denmark Johannes "b0RUP" Borup
Denmark Asger "AcilioN" Larsen
Denmark Michael "Friis" Jørgensen

Denmark Allan "Rejin" Petersen (coach)

2017-05-02 21:09
lol ofc he will. You can put ScreaM, kennyS, shox, s1mple and GuardiaN up against GOD HUNDEN, and he will tear their souls back to the stoneage. Only way to make this tournament fair is for HUNDEN to play 1v5 every game, without a keyboard and a screen that only has 2 working pixels. Unless it will be boring and too ez for GOD HUNDEN

Only complete idiot leaves the visa renewal on the last day. This is their profession. They should renew the visas at least weeks before in case of some random delay.

Ugh... Tricked... out of all the teams? Why not just bring in Penta or BIG (I know that these 2 teams wont have a chance in DH tours, but will def have better chance than Tricked)
2017-05-02 22:22
Because tricked were runner up for the european qualifier they deserve the spot more than penta or big
2017-05-02 22:51
Penta I disagree....BIG I would like to see. Tricked is pretty good...on a good day they are better than BIG on many days they are not. I am a fan of BIG but the problem is that if gobB is not fragging (or Legija too but gobB gets more of an excuse as IGL) they get CRUSHED. nex and tabseN have to carry a lot...keev is doing OK but can play better I know. I think BIG will qualify for some events but they are not there quite yet
2017-05-02 22:52
well they finished 2nd in the qualifier so.. its deserved was are qualifiers for ?
