Chiefs crush Renegades
Chiefs picked their first victory at IEM Sydney after beating Renegades 16-5 on Train.
Renegades began the Australian clash with an A execution as Terrorists. Chiefs' defense prevailed as they picked the pistol round with only one man down and, from that point, they increased their lead to 3-0.
Both teams traded kills in the beginning of the first gun round, but it was Chiefs who picked it after time ran out on Renegades. After winning yet another round in the following one, Peter "pecks" Nguyen was left alone against three and, despite his opponents' control of the A bombsite, he took advantage of a bomb drop to clutch the round.
INS had 25 frags by the end of the first half
The first half continued to be a one-sided affair as Renegades failed to pick any rounds throughout their Terrorist side, and with Chiefs managing to hold an impressive 15-0 lead before switching sides - which included a 1v2 clutch by Tyler "tucks" Reilly in the 15th round.
After winning their Counter-Terrorist pistol, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković's new squad didn't back off and picked other four rounds. However, Chiefs only needed one round, which they easily won after losing five in a row, finishing the map 16-5.
