OpTic thrash Chiefs

OpTic moved up to the 2-1 pool after crushing Chiefs 16-4 on Train.

Starting as Counter-Terrorists, the home team Chiefs grabbed an early 3-0 lead with a pistol round going their way.

Clinching the first two gunrounds, OpTic replied with four in a row thanks to forcing their opponents on ecoes before the Australian side equalized the score at 4-4 with doubles from Liam "malta" Schembri and Tyler "tucks" Reilly.

OpTic conceded only one gunround throughout the match

OpTic had a firm grasp on the rest of the half, exploiting each bombsite late into the rounds after Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas found entries, switching over at 11-4.

Keith "NAF" Markovic's and Tarik "tarik" Celik's doubles in the second pistol got OpTic within two rounds from the victory, and they took no time to close things out as NAF clutched a 1v3 for 16-4.

There's lots of games where even if it's 16-4 it seemed like some close situations going differently it could've been a different match. This was not one of those games. Not sure what optic's path is to playoffs, would need to upset a good team.

2017-05-04 06:54
Wait, if only optic has 2-1, and someone in faze x north will be 2-1, who's gonna play the loser of Astralis x SK?
2017-05-04 07:04
i dont undestand this format too
2017-05-04 07:16
i cant understand this format, If Faze lose go 1-2, and have 2 team with 1-2, who will play against who ?
2017-05-04 07:13
the 1-2 game will start first and renegades v faze afterwards.

The teams with the same Record play each other EXAMPLE 1-1 VS 1-1 2-1 VS 2-1 1-2 VS 1-2
2017-05-04 07:18
And what happen when have 3 team with 1-2 and 3 team with 2-1 ?
2017-05-04 07:23
It's unavoidable with an 8-team Swiss group, one of the 1-2's has to play one of the 2-1's
2017-05-04 07:34
Ah ok, thanks a lot :D
2017-05-04 07:38
lol what the fuck is that title RNG beat Vici 16-4 in similar fashion winning a lot of consecutive rounds: "Renegades eliminate Vici: Optic beat Chiefs in similar fashion winning a lot of consecutive rounds: "Optic thrash Chiefs" Someone's dick got hard...

hes need to use a different word each time a teams beats another team
2017-05-04 07:23
The fact that ViCi were eliminated from the tournament is, in the grand scheme of things, more important to highlight than the fact that it was a one-sided match. Simple as that
2017-05-04 07:37
it ok i thought it was funny
2017-05-04 07:47
chiefs is such trash, aussies pls delete cs if possible! cheers!
2017-05-04 07:26
+1 Imagine how bad Renegades are to lose to this shitty team. xD
2017-05-04 07:38
Renegades were on good winning streak with Atter + Uber but with Nexa and Nifty they lose to everyone... I say #BringBackAtterandUber!

A 1-2 team will have to play a 2-1 team. It's dumb but ESL wants this
