ELEAGUE has announced a $250,000 match called 'Clash for Cash: The Rematch', featuring the finalists of the latest Major, Astralis and Virtus.pro.
Scheduled for June 16 at 03:00, 'Clash for Cash: The Rematch' will see ELEAGUE Major finalists Astralis and Virtus.pro face off in Atlanta in a winner-takes-all best-of-three encounter, with $250,000 on offer.
Astralis, the current No1. team in the world, pulled off a reverse sweep against the Polish giants in the final after losing the first map to win their first-ever Major title and earn a $500,000 payout.
The match shattered Twitch's viewership record as ELEAGUE's channel had 1.026 million concurrent viewers at one point.
The announcement of the prize match comes just days after ELEAGUE revealed the first details about its third CS:GO season, starting on September 1.
