Tricked set to lose team
Tricked have announced that they will not be extending the contracts of their CS:GO squad.
In a statement, Tricked CEO Morten "Phy" Jensen explained that the management and the team could not come to an agreement regarding a contract renewal, with the players free to pursue other opportunities after June 30.
While representing Tricked, the team's most notable achievements include a semi-final run at Copenhagen Games, a 5th-8th place at ESWC and a 5th-6th place at DreamHack Open Tours.
"We had many talks with our players and the board over the last couple months, without any real progress, while they received a lot of offers after their performance at Dreamhack Tours," Mr. Jensen said in a statement.
"The era of God Hunden has to come to an end.
"While we're saddened about it, Nicolai has been with Tricked for over a year now, and I'm very proud of the results we ended up with, after more than 12 months of hard work.
"It's hard to find more dedicated players, with the drive and ambition to become the best.
"Hunden has been the captain of the team, helping the new players feel welcome and shotcalling for everyone.
The Tricked boss added that the organisation is already on the lookout for a new team, with news expected in time for the Summer event season.
