Quartet qualify for ECS finals

FaZe, fnatic, Astralis and Cloud9 are the first teams who have qualified for the ECS Season 3 finals.

In Europe, FaZe, fnatic and Astralis are all level on 33 points, with Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men still having six matches in hand, while the Danes have two.

G2, who have a 9-5 record, are the favourites to secure the fourth European spot at the ECS finals as they boast a six-point lead over their nearest rivals, mousesports and EnVyUs.

FaZe have only lost one of their 12 bo1 matches so far

Meanwhile, Cloud9 are the first North American team confirmed at the ECS finals after Friday's 1-1 draw against SK Gaming, who are trailing Timothy "autimatic" Ta's team by six points.

Team Liquid and OpTic are level on points in third place, with Renegades, NRG and Immortals also vying for a top-four finish as they are all sitting on 21 points.

The list of participants for the ECS finals looks as follows:

Europe FaZe Denmark Astralis

The ECS Season 3 finals will run from June 24-25 at the SSE Arena, in London, with the winner taking home the grand prize of $250,000.

They have to make the NA online season competitive tbh. If they only had top 2 or something all the smaller teams wouldn't even try cause they know they wouldn't be able to keep up with teams like c9, sk, liquid and optic. With 4 slots there is always room for upsets for teams like imm, rng, nrg etc.

NA top 4 is more than enough to take on EU's top4 if you think somehow EU is stronger you are a deluded fanboy, and no. G2 isnt a superteam

SK, Optic, liquid, Immortals even CLG can easily beat your very best teams any given day. just cause they seem strong to you in your mind, doesent mean its reality. look at how many finals and semifinals NA teams have been in or even won the last 2 years. more variation than EU by FAAAAAAAR oh, and even Cloud9

youre a reasonable user, but wtf are you talking about now? oh, that I said 2016 was competitive? well it was, one of the most, never had there been more at stake, profesionalism and dedication was pushed even further. is this not the definition of competition? i dont even care. I am living in the present

This Quartet team is really on the up and up. First getting into the CIS minor and now qualifying for the ECS finals? Good things in store if they can keep up form.
