mouz and North overcome NA duo

mouz and North have added one more win to their form in Dallas after defeating Liquid and OpTic, respectively.

Despite losing the first pistol round on Inferno, mousesports managed to plant the bomb. Following the save round, Robin "ropz" Kool's quad-kill helped mouz pick the first out of three rounds in a row. With a 2v3 from Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz in the eighth round, Liquid grabbed other three.

With this victory, mouz have made it to the playoffs

Until the teams switched sides, mouz secured five more rounds while Liquid other two thanks to a quad and triple-kill from Twistzz. The second half began with the pistol round in favor of mousesports, but the North Americans squad reacted with a well-succeded B execution that broke their adversaries' economy.

As Liquid reached the ten mark, mousesports kept overwhelming their opponents' T-side with five straight rounds. The North Americans still managed to win two more rounds, but Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný's team was the one to close off the map with a 16-12 scoreline.

North took control of the game right from the start with a fast and ubiquitous pistol round as Terrorists. The Danes proceeded to grab the following four rounds and seemed to be dominating Mirage, but Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas' multi-kills helped OpTic on reaching a 6-5 lead.

Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen's squad answered with two more rounds until the end of the first half, which meant that the North Americans would switch sides with an one round advantage. That margin was about to increase as OpTic started the second half with a pistol round win.

North have secured a place in the playoffs with a perfect run

However, in the third round of the second half, MSL opened it with a saved AK-47 from the previous one. As Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and René "cajunb" Borg were left alone against three, the former managed to clutch a 1v3 and secure the save round.

After grabbing a 12-10 lead with a five-round streak, North had some struggles after OpTic's tactical pause. Keith "NAF" Markovic and co. were actually the first team to reach the 14 rounds, but the Danes confirmed their perfect 4-0 run in Dallas with a 16-14 nail-biting victory.

I know
2017-06-01 02:53
Isn't mouz guaranteed in the playoffs since they beat both Na'Vi and Liquid h2h? Or rather, mouz should be second place 100%
2017-06-01 02:18
Yea but North get automatically put at the top of the group regardless of their result against Liquid since they have already beaten mouz
2017-06-01 02:21
Why is mouz safe through tho? I dont understand the rule.
2017-06-01 02:23
Nrg are 0 and 4 Liquid are 2 and 2 Optic are 1 and 3 i think Navi are 2 and 2 Mouz are 3 and 1 North are 4 and 0 So mouz only comp is is liquid and navi but they beat them both so they will automatically take the higher seed no matter what over them
2017-06-01 02:48
Magisk calling seems to be working well
