Renegades book Major qualifier spot

Renegades have become the first team to secure a spot at the offline qualifier for PGL Major Krakow from the Asia Minor after defeating Immunity 2-1 in the Upper Bracket final.

Day three of the Asia Minor, taking place at the Dongyi Tianhong Studio Hall, in Beijing, kicked off with the Upper Bracket semi-finals, both of which featuring one Chinese and one Australian team.

TYLOO went into their match against Renegades with wind in their sails after dropping just eight rounds in the group stage, but they were blown away by Noah "Nifty" Francis, who put in strong individual displays on the final two maps to inspire his team to turn the series around after they had lost the opening map.

Nifty was on fire in both matches

The following match was a bit more straightforward as Immunity moved past Flash on two maps, with Mohammed "MoeycQ" Tizani topping the scoreboard on 43 frags.

The Australian derby was a bit of an odd series as all three maps were one sided. Renegades took the lead in the series with a comprehensive 16-5 victory on Train, where Nemanja "nexa" Isaković wowed the community with a Desert Eagle ace. Immunity responded by winning Nuke by the same scoreline, but then Mirage went Renegades' way in convincing fashion.

game was 2-4 (last map of bo3, elimination matchj) for thainland (and thailand wouldve broken economy and go 6-2 lead) renegays say we want 2-3 and pause go on for hours cuz "technic" problems and kill thainland momentum

Basically what happened was at the start of the 3rd map there was some really bad technical issues which saw pauses after every round even ones rng won, in the end the technical issues where that bad that they took over an hour to fix and ha to get in a new pc but according to some people on hltv who lost money on the game it was there fault that technical issues that had nothing o do with the players accured. In the end renegades went on to win fairly. But becaus these people lost money on the game it's rngs fault and they cheated and don't deserve to win.

I dont think they predicted he would be playing this well. He was in a team after all that didn't really make much of an impact. Even when he was first added to RNG people questioned whether he was a good pick up.

The 1st match they played against winterbots nifty was hitting awesome shots and I saw it as a great sign for the future, but a couple of peeps said it doesn't mean shit because winterfox are bad... Yea well sugamadik NIFTY GOD

I'm Chinese living in aus so i naturally wanted both China teams to go through especially after the potential they have shown in previous events and groups. While aussies did play some great cs the chinese definitely weren't playing their usual standard and they always fuck up during important games like in the last minors

Totally undeserved. They dont have the skill to play a Major. Such a bad team, won vs Tyloo because Nifty had the greatest game he will ever have in his life, considering how shit of a player he is normally. Rng will be the joke of the Major, and not for the first time.

Renegades with their tech pauses whilst all other teams dont seem to have it. We all know pauses are used to kill momentum and they clearly do this with tech pauses. Well i will be routing for teams to get rid of this trash out of the majors. Hope this pile of dog shit team doesnt get to majors P.s. i didnt bet , just hate the cheap ass tactics used Gl to renepause , u will need it trash fckers

i like the new HLTV web style. cool-- but CSGO's Major system is more and more like a pool of dead water. 8 legendary teams (take 50%) + 8 last major losers team (take 25%) + 8 minor best 1 and 2 (take 25%). in Dota2 Ti, 50% team come from directly invite, but minor/continent area winners also take 50% too. now, let's see constructure of the team: 8 legendary teams (7/8 from Eu, esc SK, if count it in, 100% of EU Team) 8 last major losers (5/8 from Eu, 2/8 from NA, 1 TBD/orginal for G2) 8 minor best 1 and 2 teams (2/8 Eu) exactly like FIFA's trick. even away worse than that. Does every Eu team has high performance/skill? Yes. But not that good for taking such percent.
