Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey and Klaudia "klaudia" Beczkiewicz are stepping down from CLG's female roster, the North American organisation have announced.
The North American team, who have been part of CLG since 2015, were last seen in action at Intel Challenge Katowice, where they were sent packing in the semi-finals following a 2-1 defeat against North American rivals Dignitas fe.
Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey has won multiple international titles with the team since their creation, in 2005, including five ESWC crowns, as SK Gaming, UBINITED and CLG Red. Klaudia "klaudia" Beczkiewicz joined the squad only in 2016 alongside coach Erik "da_bears" Stromberg.
Stepping into the duo's shoes are Jennifer "refinnej" Le and Emma "Emy" Choe. According to the official announcement, the new players "are both young up and coming talents in CS:GO" - the former has been playing on ESEA since 2015, the latter since last year.
"I've looked up to these girls for a long time and when I was asked to tryout, I was full of anxiety and pretty nervous," refinnej stated.
"But I'm so happy to be able to say it went great and now I'm a part of CLG Red. It has always been a dream of mine!"
"I am excited to be a part of an organization that supports its players and staff as much as CLG does," he said.
"Joining CLG as a coach will be a new experience and I'll make sure to push the team to practice their decision making - positioning and just sound Counter Strike has a lot of value that most people overlook.
"I am counting on our fans for their support during these roster changes and look to bring in the results in the future!"
Despite the departing duo's future remaining uncertain, missharvey stated that she is already looking for the "next challenge" in her career.
"After 12 years of being on this team, it is finally time to move on," missharvey said. "I am looking forward to my next challenge and excited for the new adventure ahead of me.
"As my journey continues, I would like to wish CLG and CLG RED the best of luck in their endeavors. Thank you to the CLG family, friends and fans for everything you did for me. So long."
With these changes, CLG Red's roster stands as follows:
