mousesports stayed alive at DreamHack Open Summer after beating Singularity 2-0 (16-14 on Nuke and 16-13 on Mirage).

The first elimination match at DreamHack Open Summer was between mousesports and Singularity who lost their opening matches to Immortals and SK, respectively. Nuke was the first map of the best-of-three series and the Danes kicked it off on the CT-side.

Singularity won the pistol round with a team ace and were able to pick up the anti-eco rounds (3-0). The first weapon rounds saw Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný getting an opening kill and mousesports winning the round but Singularity responded in the following round without losing a single player (4-1).

mouz will play SK in their next match

mousesports returned the favor a round later and started an impressive seven round streak which secured them the lead at halftime. They won the first half 10-5 and won the second half pistol round, setting themselves up for a good CT-side start, but The Danes had other plans, winning four rounds in a row to trail 11-9.

mousesports then ran away with it to lead 14-9 but Singularity kept themselves alive, tying the game at 14-14. However, Lucas "Lukki" Pilheden & company couldn't keep their streak alive and lost the final two rounds as mousesports took the lead in the series (16-14).

Singularity's campaign is over

Singularity started on the T-side on Mirage and won the pistol round. As usual, the force buy worked for mousesports and they started a six round streak (6-1). The Danish team answered with four in a row but couldn't tie the game as oskar secured the twelveth round with a triple kill (7-5). mousesports had a 9-6 at halftime.

Chris "chrisJ" de Jong got the entry kill in the second half pistol round as his team extended their lead to 10-6. Robin "ropz" Kool & company closed out the anti-ecos without much trouble but Singularity took the first weapon round with Mads "Console" Skovby's triple kill. Two rounds later, mousesports won a force buy when Denis "denis" Howell killed the defuser in the last second (13-8).

Just like on Nuke, mousesports were able to close out the game, this time with oskar's knife kill, winning Mirage 16-13 and the series 2-0. Singularity make their tournament exit while denis & company will play SK in the Group A decider match at 17:00 for spot at the playoffs.

well thats no PUG style anymore, he is playing real cs now. it's actually a good sign if they win that dominant and he doesn't need to carry. it does mean, that they properly work as a team. but go on hating and just q for another matchmaking already lul

> Win 16-14, 16-13 > Dominant win
2017-06-18 14:26
Close but 2-0
2017-06-18 14:54
That is still far from a dominant win...
2017-06-18 18:02
Ok sorry wrong choice of words, my bad. please remove dominant then, if you feel better, replace it with "decent" or anything you can manage. still 2-0'd. a win is a win I guess.
2017-06-18 19:37
Haha, yes, just talk down to people, that point out a mistake you make, if that makes it easier for you than to actually just accept that you made a mistake..
2017-06-19 09:00
Yes I did. I admit. Therefore...please forgive me dear brother and human being of equal value and thank you for making me a better person. actually, later I realized my brain was still thinking about the match BiG vs EnvyUs when I wrote that comment and that's why I used "dominant" ;) but pssssscht don't tell anyone it may become our secret.
