NRG secure DH Valencia spot

NRG have booked the final spot at DreamHack Valencia after defeating Luminosity 2-0 in the grand final of the North American qualifier.

En route to the final, NRG defeated mouseSpaz and Complexity, both by 2-0 scorelines, while Luminosity defeated Mythic and the Miami Flamingos - without dropping a single map, either.

The grand final kicked off on Cache, Luminosity's map pick. The Brazilians got off to a great start, strolling to a 9-6 lead, but a strong recovery from NRG saw them seal a 16-12 victory, with Jacob "FugLy" Medina racking up 29 frags.

NRG will attend DreamHack Valencia next month

The map that followed, Mirage, was a complete blowout from the start. This time around, Peter "ptr" Gurney and Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte led the charge for NRG, who took 11 rounds on the Terrorist side before quickly locking down the map in the second half.
