eXTREMESLAND 2017 ANZ Qualifier announced

ESL Australia and BenQ Australia have announced the Oceanic qualifier details for eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals 2017.

Earlier this month, eXTREMESLAND announced their return for 2017, which revealed 16 teams out of 14 countries that will get the opportunity to qualify for the main event in Shanghai, China from October 19-22 and compete for a lion's share of the $100,000 prize pot.

Therefore, the Oceanic region has received one of these spots. The Australian & New Zealand qualifier will consist of three stages. The first stage will be an online open qualifier for the region, taking place on July 22-23. The top four teams from the open qualifier will advance to the second stage, the online closed qualifier, where they will compete against four other invited teams on August 6th.

Chiefs have been invited to the ANZ Regional Finals, skipping the online phase

The invited teams for the online closed qualifier:

Australia Kings Australia Dark Sided Australia Tainted Minds Australia Legacy

The top two teams from the closed qualifier will progress to the ANZ Regional Finals, where they will clash against two more invited Australian teams:

Australia Chiefs Australia Grayhound Australia TBD Australia TBD

The ANZ Regional Finals will be an offline 4-team event, utilising a best-of-three single-elimination format. It will be held at ESL Australia's studio in Sydney, Australia on September 9th. The winner of the ANZ qualifier will receive an invitation to the eXTREMESLAND 2017 Finals including flights and accommodation paid.

If you're from the Oceanic region, you can register for the open qualifier on the ESEA platform here.

Havoc rumoured on twitter he might be coming back. Maybe Havoc to Tainted Minds?

Yeah seems like the best option. I'd rather him join Kings though, if you think about it, Athletico with wizard before he left was probably the best team AU ever had other than RNG.

Played with 70% of these "pros" before,aim-wise speaking, they are only just ok...Guess that's why AUS&NZ CSGO teams are tier 3 who will never be able to cope with top tier aimers. Even they have godlike strats, but with bad aims, these teams will forever be tier 3...

Renegades aren't looking to shabby but that's probably because of Nifty he is just so good. I agree about rest of AU tho, we suck dick.
