Liquid beat TyLoo in overtime

Liquid have picked up their first win at the Major Main Qualifier after a nail-biting 22-19 victory over TyLoo on Inferno.

TYLOO started out Inferno as Terrorists and opened up the pistol round with two frags. Liquid were then able to kill four before Hui "DD" Wu almost pulled off a 1v3 clutch. After winning the anti-eco, the North Americans lost the subsequent three rounds.

Liquid were then able to pick up the following round after Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski found three in the B bombsite. In the next one, this time on the other side of the map, it was Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken who found a trio of kills to help his team secure a 4-3 lead.

Twistzz led the way for his team with 36 kills

Liquid kept increasing their lead despite only rarely finding opening kills. However, in the 11th round, the Chinese squad managed to win a semi-buy, setting them up for a three-round streak.

With a 1v3 clutch, Ke "captainMo" Liu brought the scoreline to 7-7, but the final round went to Liquid, who took a narrow lead going into the second half.

DD opened up the half with two kills to help TYLOO grab the pistol. Following the anti-ecos, the Chinese men reached the ten-round mark before losing the next two. Liquid eventually took control of the game and reached map point, but TYLOO picked themselves up and won the final three rounds to take the game to overtime.

The first overtime failed to determine a winner as both teams picked up two rounds on the CT side. In the next one, Liquid managed to take four rounds, locking down the map at 22-19.

+1 indeed, and they weren't kidding when they said asia has fucking god like Aimers, if they all continue this form and polish some stuff like their playstyle, we could see TyLoo qualifying for the Major. and i wouldn't mind a BnTeT player sticker :) even Bardolph approves of their team logo.

They basically pugged this game, which is viable when you know the other team is miles below your skill level, which tyloo isn't. Often a smart decision so they can't counter strat, but they really underestimated tyloo.
