dignitas eliminate Tengri in Bucharest

dignitas stay alive at the PGL Major Krakow Main Qualifier, defeating Tengri 16-7 thanks to a perfect CT side. The European side will fight for a place at a Major tomorrow, while the Kazakhstani team has finished their Major qualifying campaign.

Dignitas kicked off Mirage against Tengri strongly, going up 6-1 on the Terrorist side. Things took a turn for better for the Kazakhstani team after that, after they went for a couple of eco's to secure a good buy for their team, including an AWP on Ramazan "Ramz1kBO$$" Bashizov.

Three convincing round wins for Tengri were followed by the European side fighting back from a 3v5 disadvantage to win an afterplant on B, making it 7-4. Aleksandr "SNk" Semkin and Bakir "pachanga" Kurbanaliev were the key players in the rounds Tengri won after that, combining for multiple kills to finish the half 7-8 down.

After a tight first half, dignitas closed out the game as CT

Tengri didn't get a good start in the second half either, once again losing the pistol as they were shut out of A and dropping the first gun round too. An A execute in round 21 was their best chance to win a round on the Terrorist side, but the 2v2 situation was clutched out by Ricardo "fox" Pacheco and Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen.

In the end, Dignitas closed out the CT half without dropping a round, making the final score 16-7 to go up to 1-2 and eliminate Tengri from the qualifier.

While Tengri was eliminated, they've proven that they can put pressure on T2 teams such as BIG and Dignitas, despite fucking it up at the 2nd half. I don't expect them to become major winners anytime soon, but the potential to go a bit further from where they are right now is clearly there. They've got the aim, but their tactics are still iffy sometimes, and the amount of mistakes they commit is bigger than it should. I'd say give them time, who knows. Anyway, I still believe in the 3-2, in jkaem we trust. Go Dig!
