Dark Sided and their CS:GO team have decided to go their separate ways, the Australian organisation has announced.
After joining the organisation on January 4, Dark Sided reached new heights and produced significant results in the Australian scene, including qualifying for the first season of the ZEN League and reaching the playoffs in the Asia-Pacific event.
Another notable result that the up-and-coming roster accomplished was winning the Australian division of ESEA Premier Season 24, which saw them qualify for their first international event, the Mountain Dew League Global Challenge LAN. Dark Sided finished 5th-6th after defeating Enigma6 16-10 and losing to GODSENT in two close encounters.
The sudden news of this change comes after the team came runners-up in the Australian Esports Masters S1 Finals recently. HLTV.org have reached out to Sam "flickz" Jones for a statement regarding the team's plans moving forward:
"We are incredibly grateful for the past 6 months with Dark Sided. We have both accomplished so much in such a short time. We wish nothing but the best for Dark Sided. We move on to a new organisation that can hopefully help continue our rise as a team both professionally and personally."
