DreamHack Valencia viewer's guide

MIRAA
July 12th, 2017 16:51

DreamHack Open Valencia will kick off on Thursday, so we have prepared a comprehensive viewer's guide with all the information, including schedule, prize money breakdown and on-air team.

Running from Thursday to Saturday at the Feria Valencia Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Spanish DreamHack stop will feature eight teams, five from Europe and three from North America, who will square off for a cut of the $100,000 prize fund.

EnVyUs will open up DreamHack Valencia against KPI

Just like the previous DreamHack Open events, the tournament will begin with a double-elimination group stage, featuring a best-of-three format in the lower bracket. The top two teams from both groups will advance to the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs, which will determine who takes home the grand prize of $50,000.

Below you can find the group draw in full:

Heroic have a good chance at this LAN too. Personally I think this line up reads like a boot camp for our NA teams. I.e they will get some good experience out of it but nothing more :) Should be fun to watch!

Let's go KPI , good luck.
2017-07-13 10:25
Very mixed feeling. It almost feels like someone made tournament so NiP can actually win something (no irony). Glad to see CLG as they recently showed some promise. Casters? Well, we will see i guess (pansy again :X). Overall "great" choice of the date.
