Teams come to agreement not to use "crouch jump"
All 16 teams at the PGL Major Krakow have come to an agreement not to use the crouch jump mechanic that BIG brought to light in their matches against FaZe and Cloud9.
Over the course of the last few months, a new mechanic was brought to light that allowed players to spot over various objects without being seen by using a specific combination of a crouch and a jump.
After the issue was brought up at the Major, the tournament's head admin confirmed that the mechanic was indeed legal, which led to several teams making isolated gentleman's agreements not to use it in their matches.
In the end, all 16 teams present at the Major have come to the agreement not to use the mechanic in the remainder of the tournament, as explained by Scott "SirScoots" Smith, who helped the teams unite on the issue:
The players got together here at the Major. All teams agreed not to use the crouch jump exploit. Great to see the players working together!— Scott Smith (@SirScoots) July 17, 2017
